This is one of my oddities kept in the cabinet. An excellent Doom Death band From Belarus. Their sound is very diverse, accompanied by keyboards, and intricate guitars with fantastic riffs, creating an atmosphere with magnificent melodies. The grunts are deep and emotional, the clean vocals are melancholy and suffering.
Highly recommended!!!

This compilation contains the 2 first albums from Lacrimas Profundere, these albums are released in the best era of the band. This compilation is one of my original oddities. Both albums have been remastered! This compilation is hard to find!
Highly recommended!!!

Lacrimas Profundere in their early years played Doom Death with melodic riffs, classical music influences, violin, flute, harp, keyboards, acosutic passages, crushing melodies, tons of melancholy, deep grunts, clean vocals and Soprano.

'...And the Wings Embraced Us' is the first album of the band, in this album they play emotional Doom Death with crushing songs. This is the beginning of this great career.

'...La Naissance d'un Rêve' is one of the top 10 Doom Death masterpieces! Really in this album they play amazing Doom, with sorrowful melodies, sadness, agony, pain, melancholy, and hopeless. It's a total tragedy! This is one of my favorite Doom Metal albums ever made. It's a treasure!!!

I recommend you listen with a lot of attention 'An Orchid for My Withering Garden' is one of the most painful acoustical tracks in the Doom Metal history!

This is the only full-length of the best Peruvian Doom band. They play Doom Metal with Folk influences, playing Andean instruments like 'rain stick', kena (south american flute), zampoña, charango, and more.

They get a perfect combination of these Peruvian Folk elements with Doom Metal and 70's influences, the result is fantastic Folk Doom, with perfect melodies, beautiful passages, melodic riffs, raw moments, clean & harsh vocals, and deep grunts.

Isole - Silent Ruins (2009)

'Silent Ruins' is the fourth album from Isole, it's excellent Epic Doom and one of the best releases of this year. Their style is very similar to 'Bliss of Solitude', and contains awesome tracks, with melodic riffs, acoustic passages, rhythm changes, guitar solos, heavy melodies, some blast drums, and perfect vocals. The vocal style is awesome, the choirs are emotional singings, completed by some guttural vocals in the first track and especially in the last track.

The surprise : In the last track 'Dark Clouds' the band explores walloping, playing funereal melodies towards the end of the track. The last 6 minutes of the album are Funeral Doom with slow melodies, darkness atmosphere and powerful grunts.

This album is highly recommended for all Doomster!... Really, I recommend you purchase this album, you won't be wrong!!!

Awesome third album of this funereal band. The band plays Funeral Doom with Doom Death moments, mounful guitars, melodic riffs, sorrowful violins, melancholic keyboards/piano, classical arrangements, depressive melodies, beautiful passages, crushing moments, powerful grunts and some clean vocals.

The first track is simply amazing with tons of melancholy. In the minute 5:40 the sadness is absolute, the violin and piano are so depressive, it's a beautiful agony!... I am in the continuous search of the perfect mournful melody, and in this track I found other mournful melody. The sad melodies are water for my life, the breath of my soul!

This album is absolutely recommended!!!... also recommended for purchase!

Depressed Mode - ...For Death (2009)

Genre : Symphonic Death (Doom)?

I am very angry with this band, their first album is awesome, but this album is other stuff, very symphonic, with many keyboards, blast drums and brutal passages, with a little bit of Doom influences. The only good is the female vocals. This album is not bad, but is not Doom Metal for me, except for the last track.

The label Firedoom/Firebox is the killer of Doom bands, this is the death of Depressed Mode in the Doom Metal genre!...
.
The label Firebox sells this CD like Symphonic Death Doom, I don't trust in the labels, for this motive it's better listen before buying... This is Symphonic Metal stuff with diverse influences! I don't recommend purchase this album, if you don't like Symphonic Metal!

My Dying Bride - For Lies I Sire (2009)

This is the awaited tenth album of the pioneers of Death Doom. In this album the band plays Melodic Doom on 8 tracks, and extreme Doom Death on 1, remembered me 'The Return of the Beautiful'!

The guitars are magnificent, with melodic riffs trademark of the band, ultra-heavy moments, and rhythm changes; accompanied by amazing violins, and sorrowful keyboards. The Aaron's vocals are fantastic with diverse clean styles and brutal Death grunts in the 8th track! This album is highly recommended!!!

...My Dying Bride always will be the best Doom Metal band!
