In The Woods is a Big band in the Metal scene, their works are very difficult to classify, because its sound goes from Melodic Black, Progressive, Avant-garde to some passages of Doom. This is the first full-length of the band and great disc, with crushing riffs, melodic tempos, atmospheric sounds, screaming Black vocals, Epic vocals and enigmatic female choirs.
Definitively is an essential album!!!

Oh yes, a very special album, between doom, atmospheric black and progressive metal.
This one is the doomiest from the band, and my favorite one.
This music is unique, but the atmosphere reminds me Agalloch or old Empyrium. Don't miss it !
