Lake of Tears is one of the great bands from the Swedish Doom scene. The band has changed their sound over the years. The first albums 'Greater Art' and 'Headstones' are Melodic Doom with semi-guttural vocals and dense melodies (early Tiamat - Paradise Lost mid era), 'A Crimson Cosmos' and 'Forever Autumn' are in the vein of Paradise Lost ('Draconian Times'/'One Second')
